With the announcement that the DC Government was mandating that nightclubs, including Green Lantern, close to fight the spread of COVID-19, many patrons reached out asking how they could support our wonderful team of bartenders during the closure. Our response: virtual tipping!
Here's how it works: when you pour yourself a drink at home during this period of social distancing, send a tip via Venmo or CashApp to one of our bartenders. It's that easy.
This program is being made available to all members of our fantastic team. Below is the list of our team who chose to participate. The list may expand or contract based on an individual staff member's need or desire to participate, so check back often.
You can also contribute to the general tip jar that will be used to help not just our wonderful bartenders, but also but also the fantastic Barbacks, Security, Coatcheck and Cleaning staff that have affected financially by the temporary closure.
